BIO
Jeff is the Founder Director of Bangarra Family Office, a privately owned Family Office with extensive operations in the wealth and funds management sectors. His early career was spent in Australian manufacturing, retailing and investment banking. Jeff and his family also founded the Bennelong Foundation which is a key component of the Group. Jeff has degrees in law, accounting and business.
As part of the Australia Day 2019 honours Jeff was appointed as a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia (General Division) 'for significant service to the community through philanthropic initiatives'.

BIO
Michael Pratt is the Chairman of Bangarra Family Office. Prior to his appointment as Chairman, Michael held various positions in the NSW State government including his role as the 27th Secretary of NSW Treasury where he was responsible for strategic management of the entirety of the State’s finances, budget, assets and liabilities, and before that as the NSW Customer Service Commissioner where he revolutionised the way the Government delivers services.
Michael has extensive experience in the banking industry where he held senior executive positions as Regional Head of Consumer and SME Banking, North East Asia, with Standard Chartered Bank, former President of the Australian Institute of Banking & Finance and was the inaugural Joint President of Finsia. Previous roles also include senior executive positions as Group Executive of Westpac Business & Consumer Banking, CEO of National Australia Bank in Australia, CEO of Bank of New Zealand, and CEO of Bank of Melbourne. Michael previously held the role of Chairman of Bennelong Funds Management.
In 2016 he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his services to the banking industry and to customer service reforms in Government.

Carena Shankar is an Executive Director of Bangarra Family Office and Chairperson of the Bennelong Foundation. She is also the Manager of the Bangarra Group Private Portfolio, which is a collection of private assets held by the Bangarra Family Office.
Carena has a degree in economics and has worked in various areas including hospitality, finance, television production and property. A core part of Bangarra’s goal to drive positive and lasting change in the community is via its philanthropic arm, the Bennelong Foundation, which was established in 2002. The Bennelong Foundation represents the Family’s and the Group’s active philanthropic interests and forms a core component of the Group’s culture. As Chairperson, Carena has taken an active role in overseeing the administration and strategic direction of the Foundation.
KELLY CHAPMAN

Kelly Chapman is a Non Executive Director of Bangarra Family Office. Kelly is also a Non-Executive Director of Sanpoint Pty Ltd, Chair and Founder of the Studio 64 Group. After commencing her career in law, Kelly joined the executive management team of a large commercial law firm where she tenured for over 6 years.
Following a move to Western Australia, Kelly joined the senior management team of Hawaiian Pty Ltd, a leading private equity property company. Kelly is currently the Managing Director of Western Australian property group, Rpoint Properties.
Kelly commenced a professional association with the Bangarra Group in 2007 through her involvement in one of the Bennelong Foundation committees.
Kelly subsequently joined the Bennelong Family Board in 2009, continuing through to the Group’s transition to the Bangarra Group.
Hon. Phil Honeywood

BIO
Phil is a Non Executive Director of the Bangarra Family Office and the Bennelong Foundation.
Phil is also the Chief Executive Officer of the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA), Convener of the National Council for International Education and a member of the Higher Education Standards Panel, New Colombo Plan Steering Committee and the Education Visa Consultative Committee.
Phil was a Member of the Victorian State Parliament, Australia, for 18 years (1988–2006). During this period Phil served as the Victorian Minister for Tertiary Education, Training and Multicultural Affairs. He was also Deputy Leader of the Opposition from 2002–2006.
Since retiring from full-time politics in 2006, Phil was Marketing Director and CEO at Stott’s Business College and Cambridge International College in Melbourne. He also served two terms on the Governing Council of Swinburne University of Technology.
Phil has an Honours degree from the Australian National University in Political Science and Japanese.
